On World Energy Day 2024, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and CEO of DEWA, underscored the UAE’s unwavering commitment to clean energy and sustainable growth. Al Tayer stressed the strategic equilibrium between economic development, environmental protection, and energy security, in line with national objectives like the UAE Net Zero by 2050 initiative. The UAE’s global clean energy transition leadership is evident through significant projects such as the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park and the Green Hydrogen project.
