Since its inception in 2016, this initiative has been pivotal in mitigating unnecessary fuel burn and emissions while maintaining the highest safety standards.
1. Substantial Reductions in Fuel and Emissions
Emirates reduced fuel consumption by over 48,000 tons. The airline cut carbon emissions by more than 151,000 tons during the 2023-2024 financial year.

Strategies include Discretionary Extra Fuel, Flight speed optimization, Reduced flap landing, Idle reverse thrust, Reduced engine taxi-in (RETI), Optimized flight routings, Flight Pulse technology, Centre of Gravity Optimization, APU Usage, and Adjusted potable water uplift.
